We have attended 132nd Topical Symposium of the New York State Section of the American Physical Society (NYSS APS 2025) hosted by UB Physics Department. This workshop is about "Quantum Material and Phenomena", where we have learned a lot about quantum information science.
My students, Reshna Shrestha and Sharmistha Khan, attended this event and shared the research about chiral perovskite materials.

Optical spectroscopy system is setup and online!
We have established a laser lab with optical spectroscopy system to support the latest NSF project. With this set up, we will be able to correlate the circular dichroism (selective absorption to circularly polarized light) with the local structure of the chiral perovskite materials.
Let's do some laser work!

Our glovebox and evaporator system is finally online!!! We are so excited to start making devices!

Here we study the electronic structure of chiral perovskite materials.

Our X-ray tube and testing system is officially online! This setup will allow us to test our x-ray detector with hard 80 keV x-ray photon with changing temperatures.
